Chapter 5 — Customer account

In this chapter: registration and sign-in, and all sections of the customer panel — orders, returns, addresses, wishlist, saved baskets, wallet, reviews and security.

5-1. Registration and sign-in

  • Registration: first and last name, email, password, phone, company (optional) + acceptance of the terms and privacy policy.
  • Email verification: if enabled, the account is activated by clicking the emailed link; if the email does not arrive, there is a separate page to resend the verification link.
  • Sign-in: email + password, "Remember me".
  • Social sign-in: if enabled (its buttons appear on the form).
  • Forgotten password: two steps — first you enter your email so the link arrives, then on the next page you set a new password.

The account pages only open after you sign in; otherwise the message "Sign-in required" appears. The side menu lists the following sections (the "Bookings" section only appears when the store has enabled booking).

5-2. Account overview

  • Recent orders + a "Buy again" shortcut
  • A summary of default addresses, wishlist and saved baskets
  • Quick links to orders, addresses and security

5-3. Profile

  • Edit first and last name.

5-4. Orders

  • A list of past orders; opening each order shows:
  • Status, items, addresses, payments and delivery status, the full history of the order
  • The "Gift order" badge and its message
  • Buy again: repeat the same order with one click.
  • Request a return: for eligible items, by choosing a return reason.

5-5. Returns

  • A list of return requests and the status of each (pending/approved/rejected).

5-6. Addresses

  • Address book: create/edit delivery and billing addresses and set a default.

5-7. Wishlist

  • View saved items, remove them, and move them to the shopping basket.

5-8. Saved baskets

  • Save the current basket with a name of your choice (for example, "Monthly shop")
  • Restore or archive saved baskets; a gift marker on a basket.

5-9. Wallet

  • Your store credit balance
  • Gift cards belonging to you and the balance of each

5-10. Reviews

  • A list of the reviews you have written, with rating and product link.

5-11. Bookings

If booking is enabled — full details in Chapter 6:

  • A list of bookings with filtering (source, date range, number of guests)
  • Details, cancel, reschedule to another available slot
  • Pay the balance/deposit and view the account breakdown (Folio)
  • Manage guest details and documents (upload/replace/delete with preview)

5-12. Privacy and security

  • Change password
  • Two-factor authentication: set up, enable/disable; recovery codes (view the number remaining, regenerate)
  • Connect social accounts: connect/disconnect (if configured)
  • Security notification preferences

5-13. Marketing (marketing preferences)

A separate section in the account menu for marketing preferences and contact permission. It is currently a "Coming soon" page and has no functionality yet — be aware of this so you do not promise the customer an active feature.
