Chapter 1 — Getting started

In this chapter: logging in, getting to know the dashboard layout, the home page, the common pattern of list pages, and your personal account settings.

1-1. Logging in

  1. Open your shop's dashboard address in your browser.
  2. Enter your email and password and click Log in (Anmelden).
  3. Forgotten your password? Use the "Forgot password" link to receive a recovery email and set a new password.

1-2. Overall layout

  • Sidebar (left): all sections — home page, reservations, sales, catalogue, warehouse, purchasing, content, marketing, accounting, users, reports, system. Groups expand and collapse.
  • User menu (top): access to your personal account (profile, security, appearance, notifications, connections) and log out.
  • Notification bell icon (top): the live notification centre — see section 1-6.
  • Changing the language is done on the login page (not in the user menu).
  • Menus you cannot see mean your role does not have permission for them.

1-3. Home page (Startseite)

An instant view of your sales status:

  • Statistics tiles: sales, number of orders and so on
  • Sales chart over a selectable time range (date filter at the top of the page)
  • Best-selling products and latest orders
  • Sales breakdown by category
  • A Report export button and shortcuts to "View orders" / "View products"

1-4. The common pattern of list pages

Almost all dashboard lists work the same way; explained once and for all:

  • Search: the search box at the top of the list.
  • Filter: column filters (status, date, etc.) to narrow the results.
  • Create: a button to create a new record, usually top-right.
  • Row actions: edit, delete (with confirmation) and, depending on the section, special actions.
  • Pagination at the bottom.
  • Most lists also have an export option (CSV/Excel).

1-5. Personal account (Account)

From the user menu → account settings:

  • Profile: your name and details.
  • Security: change your password; two-factor authentication (2FA) with a QR code or a manual key, disabling it, and recovery codes (which can be regenerated); and connecting social accounts (link/unlink).
  • Account PIN: inside the Security tab — the same PIN used at the point of sale to quickly unlock the lock screen.
  • Appearance: light/dark theme.
  • Notifications: notification preferences.
  • Connections: your connected personal services.

1-6. Notification centre (top-bar bell)

The bell icon in the top bar of the dashboard shows live notifications — especially account security activity: successful or suspicious logins, password change/reset, regeneration of recovery codes, and connecting a social account.

  • A drop-down list with the option to "mark all as read".
  • The channel by which each notification reaches you (email/in-app/browser) is set in the account notifications tab.
