User Guide — Management Dashboard
This guide is written for the shop/restaurant manager and back-office staff. The dashboard is the browser-based control centre for your business: whatever happens at the point of sale and on the website is managed and configured here.
The main menu is on the left and is divided into the sections below. Each chapter of this guide covers one of them:
Chapter | Topic | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|
Logging in, getting to know the menu, the home page, your personal account | Everyone | |
Products, categories, brands, collections, barcodes | Catalogue manager | |
Orders, invoices, refunds, shipments, gift cards, subscriptions, RKSV signatures | Sales manager | |
Reservation calendar, reception, guest documents, resource configuration | Restaurant/services | |
Warehouses, stock history, stocktaking | Warehouse staff | |
Suppliers, purchase orders, goods receipts, bills, low stock | Purchasing officer | |
Page builder, menus, blocks, blog, documentation | Site manager | |
Discounts and coupons, customer reviews, newsletter | Marketing | |
Setup, income/expenses, UVA, bank reconciliation, exports | Accountant | |
Roles and permissions, customer records | Manager | |
Sales, reservation, accounting and product reports | Manager | |
All settings: shop, payment and card reader, shipping, theme, RKSV certificate, document templates | Manager |
A few general notes
- A common list pattern: almost every list page works the same way — a Search and Filter at the top of the page, a Create (+) button, Edit/Delete on each row, and pagination at the bottom. This pattern is explained once in Chapter 1 and is not repeated throughout the rest of the guide.
- Permissions: whether you can see each section depends on the user's role (Chapter 10). If you cannot see a menu, you don't have access to it.
- Direct effect on the point of sale and website: changes made in this dashboard (price, tax, payment method, theme, etc.) are applied directly to the point of sale and the online shop — make sensitive changes outside busy hours.
